Job Title:   Operations Coordinator        Pay:   $16 per hour     Hours:   10:00 am - 7:00pm  We are seeking an Operations Coordinator for a logistics company located in Westlake, OH. The Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations by handling inbound calls and emails, coordinating carriers, and facilitating seamless transportation logistics.  The Operations Coordinator is is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a lasting career in a thriving industry. This position will be 4-6 weeks of training then have the option to go remote with coming into the office 1-2 times a month. As an Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for: - Manage inbound calls and emails from customers, comprehensively understanding their transportation needs. - Coordinate carrier selection, schedule appointments, and confirm purchase orders and materials for transportation. - Serve as a liaison between vendors and customers, ensuring smooth communication and order execution. The ideal candidate for this role will have: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; internships and certifications/degrees in related fields will be considered. - Strong phone presence and articulate communication in a professional manner. - Proficiency in computer operations, including the use of software similar to Excel. - A positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering results. - Transportation industry experience is preferred.
