Job Title: Accountant
Pay: $65-70K with full employer paid benefits!
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accountant for our client in Fenton. In the accountant role, you will work closely with the Controller and other departments to support financial operations, streamline processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting functions.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including monthly and year-end close processes
Prepare financial statements and reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
3+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is required
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Positive, collaborative attitude with a strong commitment to working as part of a team
