Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist

Pay: $17-20/hr

We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist for our client located in Mayfield Heights, OH. The Medical Billing Specialist will greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient records.  

As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring proper coding to submit clean claims to various insurance companies.
• Entering pertinent data elements into the billing system , and submits claims to the proper payer, including corrected, electronic and hard copy claims
• Following up with payers on unpaid claims, and takes action to correct issues delaying payment

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

• Experience in billing is required.

• Healthcare, medical terminology and third party payer as well as Medicare and Medicaid billing knowledge preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
