Senior Tax Accountant

Sr. Tax Accountant Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients and staff to ensure proactive and strategic tax planning.
• Prepare and review business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.
• Oversee income tax correspondence and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide ongoing training to staff, promoting efficient tax return preparation and tax expertise development.
• Dive into complex technical tax-related issues to guide clients effectively.
• Gain exposure to foreign taxation, sales/use tax, and payroll tax.

Senior Tax Accountant Qualifications:

• Progressive experience in the tax department of a CPA firm.
• CPA or EA designation required (or actively pursuing); MST is a plus.
• Strong background in the preparation and review of individual and business tax returns.
• Proficiency in tax research using various resources.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Salary: $95k

Schedule M-F 8am-5pm

On site in Office to Start-Once trained, will work hybrid schedule- 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
