Long-standing manufacturer in Redmond is seeking a CNC Machine OperatorPosition: CNC Machine operator Purpose: Cutting material for customers and maintaining the band saw through routine preventative maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: CNC Machine operator
Read Work Orders: Layout cutting lines on stock, determine dimensions and tolerances, and determine metal to be cut, type of blade to be used, blade tension, cutting speed, feed rate, table angle, and positions of table stops and guides.
Set Cutting Parameters: Turn controls to set prescribed cutting speed, feed rate, and table angle.
Position Work piece: Loosen table stops and guides and position them to align and secure the work piece.
Clamp Stock: Place stock on the cutting table and clamp it into position.
Calibrate and Maintain Saw: Calibrate saw and perform daily maintenance and cleaning.
Operate Saw: Understand and operate all functions of the saw, including the power button and all switches.
Read Drawings: Read and interpret drawings to set the degree of the miter.
Perform Other Duties: Additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: CNC Machine operator
Verifiable experience running and operating a Horizontal Band Saw
Language Ability
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Math Ability
Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, working with decimals, and fractions

Monday-Friday: 7am-3:30pm OR Four 10 hour days 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
