Industrial Electrician — Urgently Hiring in Albany!

Pay: $42.82–$50.00 per hour, depending on license type, schedule, and experience

Shift Differential: Additional $3.00 per hour for rotating shifts Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 2-2-3 rotation | Days and nights, 7:00–7:00 Start Date: ASAP

Power up your career with an award-winning leader in sustainable manufacturing! We’re hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a premier wood products facility in Albany, Oregon.

In this role, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical electrical systems that keep production running safely and efficiently. You’ll work alongside maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving plant equipment, motors, and control systems
• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, PLC systems, and other electrical components
• Work with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix systems
• Use diagnostic equipment, including DMMs, VOMs, and Meggers
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with electrical and workplace safety requirements
• Partner with team members to improve processes and reduce equipment downtime
• Document maintenance activities and equipment conditions in the CMMS

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Active Oregon electrical license—LME, PJ, or J—or an equivalent license from a reciprocal state
• Experience troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLCs, and industrial electrical systems
• Proficiency with standard electrical testing equipment, including DMMs, VOMs, and Meggers
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms is a plus
• Industrial millwright or mechanical maintenance experience is preferred
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work around dust, noise, chemicals, and changing temperatures

Location and Schedule

This is an on-site position in Albany, Oregon, working 12-hour day and night shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule from 7:00 to 7:00.
