You'll collaborate closely with the production team to help meet targets and keep the workflow smooth and organized. What You'll Do As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for: • Operating production presses and machinery safely following company protocols. • Pouring crumb rubber into molds, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly to assist in the manufacturing process. • Running press machines using dual-hand controls to ensure safe operation. • Removing finished products using hand tools after each press cycle. • Performing visual inspections to verify product quality and identify any defects. • Managing multiple presses (up to four) simultaneously to meet daily production goals. • Making mechanical or process adjustments under supervisor guidance. • Stacking and palletizing finished products efficiently. • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. • Tracking production counts and ensuring daily quotas are met consistently. • Working within warm manufacturing conditions while adhering to safety protocols. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: • A high school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions. • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and reliability. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform repetitive physical tasks. • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. • Attention to detail and consistency in work performance. • Previous experience in manufacturing is a plus but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers willing to learn.
