Job Title: Production Worker

Pay: $18.00 per hour Hours: Two shifts available | Day shift: 6 am - 4:30 pm | Swing shift: 4 pm - 2:30 am Start Date: ASAP

As a Production Worker, you'll play a crucial role in assisting with packaging processes and maintaining safety and efficiency on the manufacturing floor. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the company’s success.

What You’ll Do

As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting and operating various packaging equipment
• Working in close proximity to machines that compress wood by-products or similar materials
• Opening compression chamber doors, and placing and removing bales from packaging equipment
• Recording bale weights and maintaining accurate records of daily activity per company standards
• Performing routine maintenance on packaging equipment
• Learning standard setups, adjustments, and operating characteristics of all packaging machinery

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred
• Manufacturing and production line experience is a plus
• Good eye, hand, and foot coordination
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods and multitask efficiently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for at least 7 hours per day
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Basic math skills
• Prior forklift experience is preferred; forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required
