As a Metal Fabrication Grinder, you'll play a vital role in shaping heavy steel parts. You'll be responsible for grinding and deburring steel components with handheld tools, ensuring precision and quality. When necessary, you'll also perform welding tasks and assist in maintaining a clean work environment. This position offers a stable schedule and the chance to work within a supportive team environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Metal Fabrication Grinder, you will be responsible for:

• Operating handheld grinders to smooth and deburr steel parts, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Using tape measures and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Performing light welding tasks following safety protocols.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace by tidying up work areas and tools.
• Assisting with additional production tasks to support the team’s success.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Ability to lift heavy steel parts safely and comfortably.
• Basic reading and measuring skills, such as reading a tape measure.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in metal grinding or fabrication is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work well in a team environment.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Eugene, Oregon, and works Monday through Friday from 2:30PM to 10:30PM.
