What You'll Do

As a Machinist Apprentice, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with setup and operation of machining equipment such as mills, lathes, and grinders to support manufacturing tasks.
• Learning to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Measuring parts with precision tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure quality.
• Supporting the building, repair, and maintenance of tools, fixtures, and machine components.
• Performing basic shop duties including material handling, cleaning, and organization to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assisting experienced machinists with daily production activities and troubleshooting issues.
• Following all safety procedures and shop standards to ensure a safe workplace.
