Job Title: Parts Delivery Driver (Part Time, Temp to Hire)

Pay: $17/hr Hours: Tuesday - Thursday, 7am - 3:30pm (flexibility required for longer routes) Start Date: ASAP

As a Parts Delivery Driver, you’ll ensure timely deliveries of auto parts while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.

You’ll work closely with the Parts Manager and other team members to deliver results that make a difference and contribute to a seamless experience for our customers.

What You’ll Do:

As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Picking up and delivering parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with the parts manager and inventory control personnel to address any last-minute logistics.
• Verifying that invoices match purchase orders for each pickup to ensure accuracy.
• Checking payments received against invoices for each delivery.
• Maintaining a daily log of deliveries and pickups to ensure accountability.
• Obtaining recipient signatures for deliveries to confirm receipt.
• Unloading the delivery truck each evening and turning in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Conducting basic maintenance on the delivery truck, such as refueling, checking oil, and keeping it clean.
• Reporting any major repair needs of the delivery truck to the Parts Manager.
• Assisting in maintaining the professional appearance of the parts department, and helping with stock management upon delivery.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Previous delivery driving experience (highly preferred).
• Ability to lift 45-50 lbs consistently and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing throughout the shift.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Capability to operate a 24 ft box truck with a lift gate in busy urban environments.
