Job Title: Retail Shoe Store Key holder (Full Time or Part Time)
***1 FULL TIME or 2 PART TIME openings to fill***
Schedule: Mon-Sat 10-9; Sun 11-7
Pay Rate: $18/hr while training for 10 days AND THEN move to $20/hr
***we will explain the commission pay scale--this is what you will move to when hired on permanent***
Retail Shoe Store located in West Portland has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Retail Shoe Store Key holder Full Time or Part Time
The primary role of a Key Holder is to maintain the proper organization and pleasant appearance of the brand store, including helping the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with daily activities and operations as per company standards.As a Retail Shoe Store Key holder, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring that the store opens and closes every day per corporate standards and Mall requirements on designated scheduled shifts
Working a minimum of 30 hours per week, working a combination of opening and closing shifts. The opening shift begins one hour prior to the stores’ opening time. The closing shift ends one-half hour after the stores’ closing time
Helping to maintain the superior level of customer service that the store are known for. This is accomplished by displaying to the customer our genuine interest in their personal footwear needs, technical shoe fitting, and overall foot health
Ensuring that all salespeople are making every attempt to sell multiple pairs and from multiple categories
The training, promoting and enforcing of all sales techniques and team selling concepts developed by the Head of Sales and Operations Manager
Handling all customer complaints with kindness and courtesy. Do what you can for a dissatisfied customer and turn those who cannot be satisfied over to the Store Manager
Learning, training others and applying all of the POS operations
Utilizing the Master Task List to Create a Daily Action Plan with Sales Goals, Stock and Maintenance assignments every day that you open
Ensuring that the store cleaning procedures are effectively implemented and maintained
Working toward a sales increase every day, every week and every month as well as encouraging and guiding your team members to do the same
Attention to detail on paperwork
Merchandising all product and making any necessary changes
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Retail Experience
Customer Service Experience
An understanding that they will be working retail hours
