Job Title:  Assembly Technician Associate - Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $16.00 - $21.22 Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F, Overtime as needed Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Assembly Technician Associate for a temp-to-hire position with our client, a local manufacturing company located in Roseburg, Oregon. The Assembly Technician Associate will play an essential role in managing materials and scheduling outbound shipments of products. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the efficient distribution of products. Duties and Responsibilities for Assembly Technician

• Read and understand mechanical drawings, blue prints, and customer specifications
• Complete all aspects of machine assembly, including frames, shaft/sprocket assemblies, bearings, gear reducers, electric motors, chain drives, V-belt drives, rigid and flexible couplings, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and valves
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Follow instructions from area Leads, Supervisors, and Management
• Assist in general housekeeping of work area

Skills and Qualifications for Assembly Technician

• Read blue prints and shop drawings
• Read tape measure
• Ability to operate power tools
• Basic math and use of measurements in order to properly assemble projects
• Ability to qualify on Bridge Crane & Forklift operation
• Ability to multitask, work in team environment, demonstrate
• High school diploma or equivalent required
