Job Title:

We’re hiring a Painter / Painter Helper for a Temp-Hire role with a well-established industrial metal manufacturing company in Philomath, OR. This position involves applying paint and coatings to custom metal parts and equipment using an industrial paint sprayer. Prior experience in industrial or construction painting is ideal, but candidates with transferable skills—such as indoor/outdoor residential house painting—and a strong interest in learning are encouraged to apply. As a Painter / Painter Helper, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing parts and equipment to be painted by cleaning, masking, sanding, and priming metal surfaces

• Applying industrial paint using spray gun equipment

• Ensuring proper coating thickness and consistent finish quality

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and paint booth, as well as cleaning tools

• Assisting with shop tasks and material handling as needed

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience using spray guns in industrial or construction environments (non-automotive), or transferable experience such as residential/commercial painting

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions

• Ability to accurately measure and mix liquids according to recipes if required

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during the shift
