Manufacturer of the world's leading irrigation products is seeking a
Shipping and Receiving Worker! This is a great opportunity to be a part of a great program and further your career in this industry, located in
Eugene, OR.
As a Shipping and Receiving Worker you will be responsible for:
- Assembles crates and pallets for shipping supplies
- Assembles customer orders from stock area, packing stations and shipping department
- Ensures organizational structure of inventory
- Enter all shipping information into system
- Ensure all weights and counts are ready for distribution per company standards
- Fills and distributes requisitions, work orders and requests of materials and tools to
production employees and assembly line
- Maintains counts, labels and inventory of shipped castings
- Moves material to and from receiving and production area for preparation of shipping
- Prepares materials for shipping by proper markings
- Performs any and all other job-related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Prior forklift experience preferred, but not required, willing to train
- Must have very strong upper body strength
- Will lift up to 40lbs on an occaional basis from floor to waist
- Must be comfortable working in warm work environment
