Pay: $18.00/hour Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Summer hours: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM) Start Date: ASAP

As a Galvanizer, you'll play a crucial role in preparing metal components for galvanization, ensuring high-quality results that meet industry standards. You will work directly with your team to load and unload metal parts, handle heavy materials, and operate equipment safely and efficiently to support manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do

As a Galvanizer, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing metal parts for the galvanization process by cleaning and inspecting them for quality
• Loading and unloading steel and metal components, including large flanges, piping, and other heavy metal objects, onto baskets or hooks
• Lowering metal objects carefully via chain and pulley systems into molten zinc acid tanks, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Following all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work environment

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Must possess very strong upper body strength to handle heavy materials and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a warm environment, with physical stamina to support demanding tasks
• Excellent attention to safety and detail to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained

Location & Schedule:
