Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker

Pay: $18-20/hour Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM Start Date: ASAP Duration:  This is a TEMPORARY position

As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you’ll help maintain beautiful university grounds by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. You’ll work closely with the Campus Planning and Facilities Management team to ensure the campus looks its best.

What You'll Do

As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Mowing and edging lawns and fields with push and riding mowers
• Using landscape-related hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively
• Planting, transplanting, fertilizing, and watering landscape plantings, including turf
• Keeping assigned areas clean and tidy
• Assisting with other groundskeeping tasks as needed

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Comfortable walking, standing, and working from bending positions for extended periods

Location & Schedule:
