Job Title: Millwright

Pay: $30/hr Hours: Days M-F 4pm - 2:30am w/OT. Up to 12 hour shifts. Start Date: ASAP

As a Millwright, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment to keep production running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the maintenance team to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support plant operations.

What You'll Do

As a Millwright, you will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing issues with malfunctioning mechanical and electrical equipment and completing repairs
• Performing minor plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as needed
• Executing preventive maintenance procedures and assisting with outage planning
• Installing and setting up manufacturing equipment
• Leading project planning efforts for new installations or major repairs
• Demonstrating proficiency with hand and power tools, including drills, saws, torches, jacks, ladders, and cranes
• Maintaining clear communication with supervisors and production teams regarding equipment status and repairs
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation using Microsoft Office and CMMS
• Managing inventory of parts and supplies, checking stock levels, placing orders, and verifying receipts

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A High School diploma or GED; vocational training highly preferred
• At least five years of industrial plant maintenance experience with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with state licensing requirements for Millwright and Electrical work; a Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) card is a plus
• Journeyman Millwright card preferred
• Knowledge of PLC systems is a plus
• Experience in project planning, execution, and oversight
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Proficiency with power tools, welding, forklift operation, and heavy equipment
• Physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
• Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office and CMMS

Location & Schedule: This position is on-site in Brownsville, OR, and offers days Monday through Friday from 4pm to 2:30am, with potential overtime and up to 12-hour shifts.
