Job Title: Maintenance Worker

Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour (DOE) Location: Harrisburg, OR Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm Status: Temp-to-Hire

As a Maintenance Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, troubleshooting a variety of mechanical issues, and ensuring our equipment is running smoothly. You’ll work closely with supervisors and other departments to deliver results that make a difference.

What You’ll Do:

As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, tools, and shop equipment.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and structural issues to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assisting with welding, fabrication, and general shop tasks as needed.
• Repairing or replacing worn or damaged parts on equipment and building fixtures.
• Installing, adjusting, and maintaining shop tools and workstations for optimal performance.
• Conducting preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
• Safely operating hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Keeping shop areas, workstations, and outdoor grounds clean and organized.
• Following all safety policies and procedures to create a safe work environment.
• Working closely with supervisors and collaborating with other departments to support production needs.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience Level:
  • Maintenance Level 1: Some maintenance experience or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Maintenance Level 2: At least 2 years of maintenance or related experience.
• Skills & Characteristics:
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and welding repairs is preferred.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working in an industrial, physically demanding environment.
  • A self-motivated mindset with a keen ability to work well in a team.
  • Welding experience is a plus but not required.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Harrisburg, OR and offers day shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
