Job Title: HR Generalist – Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $28.00–$30.00/hour DOE Hours: Monday–Friday, flexible start between 7:00–8:00 AM, 30-minute to 1-hour lunch, end time between 4:30–5:00 PM Start Date: ASAP Duration: Approximately 12 weeks, with potential for temp-to-hire and possible hybrid work after 30 days

We are seeking an HR Generalist for a temporary-to-hire opportunity with our client, a growing life sciences company focused on the development and delivery of innovative health solutions. Located in Corvallis, Oregon, this organization plays a critical role in the biotechnology sector and is experiencing a high-volume period requiring added HR support.

The HR Generalist will play an essential role in managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and recruiting efforts. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful and knowledgeable HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands the demands of a highly regulated industry.

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting full-cycle recruitment efforts, including scheduling, first-round interviews, and documentation

  • Coordinating and conducting new hire orientations

  • Collaborating with department managers to ensure smooth onboarding and scheduling

  • Assisting with employee engagement, internal communications, and HR reporting

  • Analyzing and preparing data-driven HR reports using Excel and other tools

  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a Generalist capacity

  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and best practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience working with HRIS systems and producing analytical HR reports

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work onsite for the first 30 days (hybrid work may be considered after this period)

  • Ability to quickly adapt and step into the role with minimal training
