Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician — Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $30 - $50 per hour (DOE) Hours: First Shift — 8am to 4:30pm (exact hours TBD) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Temp-Hire

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable manufacturing company located in Lebanon, Oregon. The Senior Maintenance Technician will play an essential role in equipment installation, start-up, and ongoing maintenance of plant machinery. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems, and help optimize machine reliability and output. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Performing routine preventative maintenance such as greasing bearings, changing belts and oil, inspecting, and cleaning equipment to ensure reliability.

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment; dismantling machinery to replace defective parts as needed.

• Troubleshooting complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on production machinery and facility equipment using tools like multimeters and tachometers.

• Logging all work performed into the company’s CMMS and completing end-of-shift reports to communicate with production teams.

• Ordering replacement parts and coordinating downtime for repairs; maintaining a clean and safe work area.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or technical certificate in a related field is highly desired.
• A current Electrical licence or certification is a big plus but also open to candidates who are currently pursuing one. 

• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (Spanish a plus).

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand 80-85% of the day, and perform physical tasks such as twisting, bending, climbing, and working at heights as required.

• Must pass pre-employment physical.
