Job Title: Industrial Painter

Pay: $20.00/hr + DOE Hours: Day Shift Monday - Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM & Weekend Shift Friday-Sunday 6:00AM - 6:00PM (30 regular and 6 OT hours a week) Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an Industrial Painter for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a long-standing utility trailer manufacturer that offers American-Built products, including utility, cargo, horse, livestock, and specialty trailers located in Coburg, Oregon.  The Industrial Painter will play an essential role in the hands on production painting of custom utility trailers to include steel and galvanized materials in accordance with OSHA/EPA regulations.This is a great opportunity to be a part of a large and local manufacturing facility and further your career in this industry, located in Coburg, Oregon. * Residential painters will not qualify for this position; or anyone who solely has experience with a 'Brush & Roll' technique and has never operated a Spray Gun.

As an Industrial Painter you will be responsible for:

• Prepare surfaces for paint
• Mix industrial paints to specification
• Set up and operate spray guns
• Use appropriate amount of paint
• Perform visual quality inspections of painted equipment
• Must be respirator fit tested onsite
• Some Heavy Lifting may be required
• General Clean-up as needed

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• This job entails working with very sticky paint and is not comparable to a clean automobile painting position
• Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing or production paint shop required.
• Knowledge of & experience with mixing industrial paints required
• Must be familiar with HVLP & Pressure Pot 
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed throughout the day and up to 75lbs with a 'Team-Lift'
• Must be able to read & use a tape measure
• Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
• Must have the ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, twist, climb, and crawl as needed 
• Must display 'Sense of Urgency' - this is a fast-paced production facility!
