Job Title: Night Shift Millwright Urgently Hiring Pay: Skilled millwrights starting wage $25 DOE Journey Level millwright starting $32 DOE Hours: Night Shift Start Date: ASAP Millwright-   We are currently recruiting for a family owned and operated sawmill that has been in business since 1947. We are a unique cutting mill that specializes in high quality custom cut timbers. We are known for our family oriented culture and it is our mission to continue to serve the lumber industry with top quality products. We are looking for dedicated, hardworking employees to join our team. 

As a Night Shift Millwright, you will be responsible for:

• The maintenance team is responsible for keeping the sawmill running efficiently and effectively with as little downtime as possible. Preventive maintenance to equipment and machine centers is required as well as planning and completing mill projects.   

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

• Well versed with hydraulic motors, cylinders and valves. 
• High attention to detail and ability to diagnose and fix maintenance issues is a requirement
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a millwright required 
• Basic installation, maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment
• Experience using specialized tools such as welders, capable of reading blueprints and fabricating
• Knowledge with parts and pieces and able to sort through inventory 
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, stand, kneel and walk for a minimum of a 9 hour work shift
• Must work well with others in a fast paced environment and willing to help out where needed throughout a shift 
• Must have an array of technical skills that would enable you to diagnose and fix any machine or equipment issues including electrical
• Maintaining shop cleaning and organizing
