Duties and Responsibilities for Machinist: Set up and operate machining equipment, including lathes, CNC machines, grinders, and saws Adjust machine settings according to job specifications (speed, feed rates, tool selection) Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine settings and material needs Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency Inspect and measure parts using tools like micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy Perform basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubrication Troubleshoot minor machine issues to avoid production delays Ensure machines are operating safely and according to safety guidelines Package finished parts and keep the work area organized and clean Wear proper protective equipment and follow safety procedures Lift and move materials up to 50lbs as needed Skills and Qualifications for Machinist: MUST have machinist experience Ability to work on machines for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day) Comfortable with tools and equipment, including lathes, grinders, saws, and other machining tools Good attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently Job Details for Machinist: Temp-Hire Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Must be willing to work overtime as needed Pay Rate: $19.00/hour If you're ready to start a rewarding career as a Machinist, apply today! #STALB
