As a Fabrication Shop Worker, you'll be instrumental in supporting daily production and ensuring the efficient operation of various fabrication machinery. You'll work alongside our dedicated team to operate, set up, and maintain equipment, while adhering to safety standards and quality requirements. What You’ll Do

As a Fabrication Shop Worker, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating fabrication machines such as cold saws, band saws, drill presses, iron workers, threading machines, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Setting up machinery and verifying proper operation based on work orders and technical drawings.
  • Reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Prioritizing and adjusting workflow to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Communicating effectively with team members about machine status and technical processes.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Basic knowledge of machine operation and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and understand measurements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
  • Basic math skills, including converting fractions and decimals.
  • Knowledge of steel grades and fastener diameters/thread pitches is a plus but not required.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to following safety guidelines.
