Job Title: Welder / Fabricator

Pay: DOE Shifts Available: Day Shift and Swing Shift Start Date: ASAP

Looking for a hands-on welding role in a large manufacturing environment with long-term career potential? Join a leading industrial equipment manufacturer as a Welder / Fabricator, where you’ll help build heavy mechanical equipment used in infrastructure and industrial applications.

As a Welder / Fabricator, you’ll play a key role in assembling and fabricating metal components according to specifications, ensuring quality workmanship while meeting production schedules.

What You’ll Do

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for:

  • Positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding metal components to form completed assemblies

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs)

  • Setting up and operating fabrication equipment such as brakes, shears, grinders, drill presses, and cutting tools

  • Performing MIG welding on steel components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions

  • Measuring and marking materials for cutting, bending, and fabrication

  • Using precision measuring tools including tape measures, squares, and gauges

  • Monitoring welding processes to prevent overheating, distortion, or defects

  • Inspecting finished welds and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards

  • Moving materials and components using forklifts or overhead cranes

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • 2+ years of welding or metal fabrication experience preferred

  • Strong MIG welding skills

  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints

  • Experience working with steel and heavy metal assemblies

  • Familiarity with fabrication equipment and shop tools

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift

  • Experience operating overhead cranes or forklifts preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
