Job Title: Temporary Production Planner

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00/hour DOE

Location: Fully Remote

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Status: Temporary (End of March – July)

What You’ll Do

As a Temporary Production Planner, you will support critical production planning and scheduling functions remotely to maintain business continuity. You will play a vital role in balancing manufacturing capacity with market demand through the following responsibilities:

Core Planning & Scheduling:

  • Maintain the 12-month rolling production plan to support the Annual Operating Plan.

  • Establish and monitor safety stock levels and inventory targets for finished goods.

  • Analyze demand and capacity utilization for both processing and packaging departments.

  • Support reporting related to schedule adherence and daily production output.

  • Collaborate via video/phone with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to balance customer needs with available capacity.

Operational Excellence:

  • Track key supply chain metrics to identify and minimize root causes of errors.

  • Ensure all daily actions align with department goals and company culture.

  • Maintain professional behavior with internal and external business associates in a virtual environment.

  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning or Production Scheduling.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of master production scheduling (MPS), inventory control, and capacity planning.

  • Certifications: APICS or ISM certifications are preferred.

  • Soft Skills: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and familiarity with various inventory models.

  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively in a remote setting (verbally, via video, and in writing).
