Selectemp is seeking a personable, detail-oriented Sales & Customer Support Representative for a local production/manufacturing company in Albany.. In this role, you will provide essential support to our Sales team and serve as the main point of contact for customers, assisting them with product and service inquiries and ensuring a smooth, positive experience. You will also assist with lead qualification, customer onboarding, and issue resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities for CSR:
- Support Sales and Customer Service teams with lead qualification, order processing, and customer inquiries.
- Resolve product or service inquiries by clarifying issues and providing effective solutions.
- Serve as a key contact for customer feedback and manage follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in onboarding new customers and nurturing business relationships.
- Prepare reports on customer data and trends to support business insights.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal EEO and affirmative action regulations.
Skills and Qualifications for CSR:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer service or sales role, with a passion for helping others.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to present ideas confidently.
- Experience in clerical, food service, or retail sales is preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and excellent attention to detail
