Job Title: Electro Assembler SWING  ASAP NEED

  • Temp-Hire
  • Sun-Thurs  4:00pm-12:30am
  • $15.75/hr moving to $16.75/hr upon permanent hire
  • It is a small team environment so a commitment to showing up every day, on time is critical

Local company who manufactures and assembles transducers, instrument transformers and voltage monitors has immediate openings for Assemblers!

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and understanding Work Orders, assembly instructions, and specifications.
  • Setting up and organizing the work area with the necessary tools, materials, and components.
  • Identifying and gathering the required electrical and mechanical components for transformer assembly.
  • Ensuring proper alignment and arrangement of core materials. 
  • Connecting electrical components using wiring and soldering techniques ensuring secure and reliable electrical connections.
  • Assembling the transformer's enclosure or casing to protect internal components.
  • Sealing enclosures using Sonic Welding equipment or other approved means.
  • Inspecting the assembled transformer for defects and quality assurance.
  • Applying labels, markings, or identification tags to transformers according to specifications
  • Collaborating with team members, engineers, and quality control personnel.
  • Communicating any issues or challenges in the assembly process. 

Ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Ability to work with steel or nickel materials
  • The ability tohandle chemicals like acetone and loctite
  • The ability to accurately differentiate between colors is essential (different colored wires)
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred but NOT required-the key is they want to make sure the candidate can perform basic math functions (adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing)
  • Vocational training or coursework in electrical or mechanical assembly, or related field, is beneficial. 
  • Soldering experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in production schedules, assembly processes, or product designs. 
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
