Selectemp is currently seeking a Groundsman Arborist to join our team in Bend. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in arboriculture and a strong work ethic. As a Groundsman Arborist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-maintained.
Responsibilities of the Groundsman Arborist:
- Perform various arborist tasks.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects within specified deadlines.
- Communicate with supervisors and clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Requirements for the Groundsman Arborist:
- Minimum of six months of experience in landscaping or a related field.
- Knowledge of basic arborist techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling, for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's license and motor vehicle report required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
