The exceptional home health and hospice care that my grandfather received was the driving force behind starting Resource 1, and it has been a truly meaningful journey.

Imagine this: my grandfather, a humble farm boy from rural West Texas, faced the challenges of the Great Depression and never left the county until he turned 19. But his life took a remarkable turn from there. He bravely served as a bombardier in World War II and later as a jet fighter pilot during the Korean War.

After retiring, he found solace in returning to his beloved farm, the place he called home. The compassionate and exceptional home health and hospice care he received enabled him to stay there, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. The impact it had on all of us cannot be put into words.

At Resource 1, we carry the spirit of that inspiring legacy. We deeply believe in the transformative power of the home health and hospice community to make a difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones.
