Mark Johnson

I am a Healthcare Recruiter with Pluto Healthcare, with a total of about 6 years of Travel Nurse recruiting experience. I specialize in placing Registered Nurses on local/travel contracts, with my primary focus in Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Kentucky.

I started out my travel nurse recruiting career in 2014, where I began working at a smaller family owned recruiting company (that was later bought by a larger company). After about 5 1/2 years there, I decided on a change of scenery and took on a recruiting position in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. After about two years, I found myself missing the travel nurse industry and with that, I joined Pluto in April of 2022!

I pride myself on providing great communication and follow-up with every nurse that I work with and I strive to make the process as seamless as possible. I work to put myself in the shoes of the nurse that I am working with and I think about how I would want to be treated if I was trying to find a job.

I love to recruit because I love to help people. I enjoy finding the best possible nursing position while also connecting with the nurses that I work with.

When I'm not working I like to
spend time with my kids and wife, watch and/or play any kind of sport (I'm a huge Cincinnati Bengals Fan), and I enjoy trying/cooking new recipes.
