Selena Jasmer

I have been Recruiting top medical Talent since 2008 with NuWest! Prior to becoming a Healthcare Recruiter, I pursued my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at PLU. After graduating, I found the profession to be a little too heavy on my heart-strings (I'm an Empath!) and so I sought out other ways I could help people.

When I was in my Undergrad at The University of Washington, I was actually a Contractor with NuWest (back then known as, MedTemps) and remembered how helpful it was to have someone assisting me in my job search. As fate would have it, my college friend worked at NuWest and helped me get a job as a Medical Recruiter...15 years later, I've never looked back and LOVE what I do and the people I work with.

Why I love to recruit
It is a way of helping people; not only the amazing Medical Professionals that I help to hire, but also the people in the communities that need supportive, caring, and compassionate healthcare services.

When I'm not working I like to
Spend time with my 2 daughters and my husband. We enjoy hanging out with family and friends, flying in our small plane to different places in WA, and keeping up to date with good TV shows and movies. I also love coloring as a way of relaxing, sipping WA red wines, and listening to 90s hits :-)
