Tyler Allen

My name is Tyler Allen - I'm a Radiology Tech (R)(T)(CT) and Recruiter/Account Manager at Lucid Staffing Solutions.

I graduated from X-Ray in 2010 and Rad Therapy in 2011. I worked in RTT and X-Ray for 4 years before moving from PA to FL. When I came to FL, I became a CT Tech to "pass the time" while I waited for a Radiation Therapy position to open. I ended up loving CT and working 3x12 was pretty nice as well! I left the field in late 2022 to take a shot at recruiting and have been doing so ever since.

Why I love to recruit
I spent most of my adult life in the healthcare field. The last few years as a CT Tech, I found myself getting the most fulfillment out of training other technologists and being a resource in the department. I took my decade+ experience and combined that with my passion for helping techs and ended up here! Finding my clinicians a reason to love their career is important to me, because it's what I've done with myself. It's important to have a resource you can trust in this profession - it's what I wanted most when I was working bedside - and it's what I aim to be every day.

When I'm not working I like to
I enjoy traveling with my wife (a seasoned RN/future NP), hanging out with our doggo, Bailey and enjoying one of my many hobbies - I'm a 20+ year musician (drummer by nature), a mediocre wood-worker, an out of practice hiker, and a semi-non-professional-average poker player. Overall, I enjoy anything that can challenge me and a nice glass of bourbon.
