From my initial anticipated start date to my actual start date, I had been waiting for this job to start for 6 months (not including application and interviews), and based on what I heard from others during the first week of training, I’m not the only provider that had big concerns about the delays, with a lot of us worrying that the job wasn’t even real after waiting so long. I initially started with another person and was eventually moved over to Sali after not hearing from the original person for some time (then finding out through someone else that the original person left the company). Sali was not only consistent with getting in touch with me, she also filled me in on the things I didn’t know prior regarding why the delays were happening, (I had originally been told “as early as and as late as” within May from the prior person, not being told it could actually be long after May) including every step about why it kept getting delayed (waiting for clinic manager to be hired, certain things that needed to be completed for the office space, etc) whereas the prior person couldn’t tell me why the job was being delayed month by month apart from “we’re getting things together” (the prior person was nice but not informative). Sali’s information relieved my fears about this not being a real job, and I am SO grateful because I finally have a position where I can take care of veterans as I’ve wanted to do for YEARS, with covid having delayed that dream for years after graduation. Also, when my previous job had found out I had another job lined up, they let me go without allowing me to stay to train any new hire. Considering I only just got married this year, this wasn’t how my spouse and I anticipated we’d be living our first year of marriage. A big ease Sali helped with was that she ensured I had the paperwork I needed to continue getting unemployment until this job stated (because without a job lined up with an official start date, I would have eventually needed to apply for other jobs on a weekly basis to continue getting unemployment), which not only helped relieve my stress because Loyal Source IS the job I wanted, but with her help she also ensured our holiday season bearable. PLEASE give Sali a raise, she went above and beyond for me.

She was very easy to talk with, always in a good mood and friendly. I enjoyed all of our conversations.
