I have dealt with recruiters for years. The quality of their support has varied significantly. Key requirements for a professional recruiter in my opinion are:
1. Clearly understands the requirements of the potential hiring organization.
2. The level of interaction with the organization ranging from the entry of a candidate's resume into a portal among others to having a close relationship and trust of the hiring manager.
3. The communication of those requirements to the candidate and qualification of the candidate's skills and experience relative to the requirements, which goes to establishing the trust with the organization by proper vetting of candidates with presentation of qualified candidates, which saves the time of HR and hiring manager.
4. Communication with the candidate of the requirements, vetting the candidate as qualified for the position, preparing the candidate for interviews if they are established, and timely communication to the candidate of the result of those interviews, good or bad.
My experience with Fernando to date has reflected these key requirements to the extent I can assess them within the hiring process. I have had very negative experiences in my job searches, but to date mine has been very positive with him.
