Seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ICU RN will provide high-quality patient care in our intensive care unit, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Active ND RN License Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC* - # of Beds: 4 - Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 depending on acuity - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: DKA, sepsis pts, respiratory failure, cardiac(rate and rhythm control), medical detox, art lines, CVP - Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Those typical to an ICU - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift Does the charge nurse take an assignment: No- ER is in charge of ICU - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit Ratios Duties: No - RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot: Nasal cannula to vent
