IDR is seeking a Palo Alto SME to support one of our top clients in a remote capacity. The role involves supporting Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, including 24x7 Managed Security Services (MSS) and Incident Response (IR). The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing security processes, developing detection capabilities, and automating workflows within a dynamic SOC environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support 24x7 SOC operations, MSS, and IR activities.
• Optimize security playbooks, dashboards, reporting, and detection engineering.
• Develop automation solutions to improve investigations and increase analyst efficiency.
• Collaborate with client teams to deliver measurable technical outcomes aligned with strategic SOC objectives.
• Contribute to initiatives that advance client engagement and adoption of Palo Alto Networks SOC solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience supporting SOC operations, MSS, and IR functions.
• Strong expertise with Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSIAM and/or XSOAR platforms.
• Skilled in developing automation workflows, detection strategies, and reporting.
• Deep understanding of SOC processes and next-generation security technologies.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with technical stakeholders.
