IDR is seeking a EDI Functional Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting healthcare organizations with EDI transaction processes, ensuring seamless data exchange and compliance with industry standards. The organization specializes in healthcare services and information technology solutions.
Position Overview for the EDI Functional Analyst:
- Support integration by assisting with requirements gathering, data mapping, documentation, and testing of EDI transactions
- Work closely with both business and technical teams to help ensure effective EDI processes
- Assist in collecting and documenting requirements for EDI integration and transformation
- Participate in mapping data elements for standard EDI transactions (such as 837, 835, 277, 999, 278, etc.)
- Support EDI translation and transformation using mapping tools and documentation standards
Requirements for the EDI Functional Analyst:
- Basic understanding of EDI concepts, X12, and HIPAA transaction sets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort learning new software and technical processes
- Attention to detail and strong organizational habits
