IDR is seeking a Power Bi Platform Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role supports an enterprise analytics environment, partnering with technical and business stakeholders to ensure reporting platforms are secure, reliable, and well-governed. You’ll help enable scalable self-service analytics by improving standards, performance, and user adoption across the organization.

Position Overview for the Analytics Platform Administrator:

• Administer and support the Microsoft Power BI tenant, including security, governance, and operational configuration
• Manage workspaces, datasets, dataflows, gateways, capacity, tenant settings, and platform standards
• Troubleshoot report performance, refresh/connectivity issues, and access requests while supporting end users
• Create documentation, user guides, and deliver training/knowledge transfer to drive platform adoption
• Provide backup administration support for Tableau and assist with cross-platform governance and improvements

Requirements for the Analytics Platform Administrator:

• 6+ years administering, implementing, or supporting enterprise analytics / BI platforms
• 5+ years hands-on development and maintenance of Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models
• 4+ years Power BI administration experience (tenant settings, workspaces, gateways, security, governance)
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft Fabric administration, implementation, or platform support
• Proven ability to troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and refresh issues and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
