IDR is seeking a Windows Server Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Suwanee, GA. This organization operates within the education sector, supporting a large school district with enterprise-grade IT infrastructure. The role offers a long-term contract with potential for renewal, focusing on maintaining and optimizing server environments.

Position Overview for the Windows Server Administrator:

• Manage and support physical and virtual servers within a large enterprise environment.
• Perform server maintenance, troubleshooting, and system updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with a team of Windows Server administrators to implement security and disaster recovery measures.
• Assist with scripting automation and scripting in PowerShell to streamline workflows.
• Maintain expertise in storage, networking, and virtualization technologies to support infrastructure needs.

Requirements for the Windows Server Administrator:

• 5-7 years’ experience in Windows server administration in a SERVER environment (specifically server-side, not operating systems)
• Experience with Scripting in PowerShell
• Experience with virtual AND physical servers
• Experience with SQL clustering
• Experience with VMware and Hyper-V
