Essential Qualifications for the Sales and Bank Audit Administrator:
1-2 years of experience in bank reconciliations and handling depository activities.
A college degree is mandatory, with a preference for degrees in Business, Finance, or Accounting. However, equivalent education and experience combinations will also be considered.
Candidates with relevant internship experience will also be taken into account.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and internal departments.
High attention to detail, particularly in processing and reviewing documentation, data entry, and maintaining data integrity.
Daily Responsibilities for the Sales and Bank Audit Administrator:
Reconcile store bank accounts with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies with store management or banks.
Download daily bank files using billing software, reconcile them with the general ledger, and record necessary journal entries.
Match credit card transactions with the general ledger and investigate chargebacks.
Verify store sales in the sales audit system, working with store management and IT to resolve issues.
Oversee daily fund transfers from local store accounts to corporate accounts and manage check processing.
Assist with accounts payable by sorting and stuffing checks.
Report any issues identified during the reconciliation process to management.
Help log, sort, and mail coupons for processing.
