IDR is seeking an Azure Developer Lead to join one of our premier clients based in Tampa, Florida. This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on cloud development expert with strong .NET and Azure experience who thrives in collaborative Agile environments. Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Azure Developer Lead:
  • Design and build robust, scalable, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions using the Microsoft stack

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and DevSecOps teams to align with enterprise cloud strategies

  • Lead Agile development initiatives and actively participate in all ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

  • Create and optimize RESTful services and APIs using .NET and WebAPI

  • Perform code reviews and unit/integration testing to ensure performance and reliability

  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes to maintain system uptime and availability

  • Apply cloud-native and serverless principles for efficient architecture

  • Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to codebase best practices and governance

  • Stay current on Microsoft technologies, development patterns, and cloud trends

Required Skills for the Azure Developer Lead:
  • 8+ years of .NET/C# experience (including SQL, ASP.NET, ORM, unit testing)

  • 5+ years deploying and managing apps in Azure cloud environments

  • Familiar with Azure PaaS/IaaS, Azure AD, and application services

  • 3+ years of front-end development using Angular or React

  • Strong understanding of Microservices, SOA, and Serverless Architecture

  • Experience working in Agile teams and following DevOps practices

  • Strong skills in REST API development, system integration, and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure certifications (Solutions Developer or equivalent)

  • Experience with CMS platforms (Sitecore preferred), mobile apps, and digital payments

  • Familiarity with Azure Functions, ARM templates, Service Bus, App Services

  • Knowledge of PowerShell, Docker, and container orchestration is a plus

  • Excellent communication, project coordination, and documentation skills
