This role is ideal for a skilled infrastructure operations professional with a strong background in cloud platforms, automation, and resiliency engineering. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the CloudOps RunOps Engineer:
  • Maintain and enhance Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules and templates for cloud provisioning

  • Build and support Day 2 automation tasks (monitoring, patching, backup, recovery)

  • Provide L2/L3 support across cloud infrastructure, OS (Windows/Linux), and PaaS services

  • Collaborate with SRE, platform, and application teams to ensure system reliability and resiliency

  • Implement and maintain observability tools such as New Relic, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow

  • Participate in incident triage, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews

  • Contribute to the development of RunOps documentation, operational playbooks, and internal knowledge base

Required Skills for CloudOps RunOps Engineer:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting cloud and hybrid infrastructure (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable)

  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps best practices

  • Familiarity with observability and incident management platforms (e.g., New Relic, PagerDuty)

  • Knowledge of IDP platforms and developer enablement tooling

  • Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar tools for automation and code generation

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with an understanding of ITIL and enterprise operations

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; team-oriented mindset
