IDR is seeking a Scrum Master to join one of our top clients in Denver, CO. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid work model (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) in a highly collaborative environment. Hybrid work: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote (subject to change) Position Overview for the Scrum Master: The Scrum Master will serve as a servant-leader for Agile teams, driving delivery through coaching, facilitation, and continuous improvement practices. You will work closely with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to manage team backlogs, coordinate sprint activities, and ensure successful delivery of high-impact initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for Agile principles and team empowerment. Responsibilities for the Scrum Master:
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Guide Agile teams toward self-organization, continuous delivery, and accountability
  • Collaborate with product owners to define clear backlog items and prioritize business value
  • Identify and remove roadblocks to maintain consistent team velocity
  • Support Agile transformation efforts across multiple teams and departments
  • Track team performance using Agile metrics; provide regular reporting to leadership
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and transparency across the team
  • Support early-stage project discovery and requirements gathering
  • Facilitate effective communication between business and technical stakeholders
  • Encourage and implement inspect-and-adapt practices across teams and deliverables
Required Skills for the Scrum Master:
  • 5–7 years of professional experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and techniques (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Experience using Agile project tracking tools like Jira and Confluence (required)
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills
  • Proven success in fostering high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification (preferred)
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare or finance)
  • Agile transformation or coaching experience is a plus
