Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop dashboards in a Jira sandbox environment based on high-level business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the IT Jira administrator team to implement dashboards in the production environment.
  • Provide strategic guidance on Jira’s capabilities and limitations from a reporting and data visualization perspective.
  • Serve as a creative problem solver—understanding the "why" behind client requests and offering innovative solutions.
  • Integrate data from Jira, Power BI, and Excel into cohesive dashboard and portfolio reporting tools.
  • Develop job aids, documentation, and provide training as needed to support dashboard adoption and usage.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience designing dashboards and reports using Jira and Power BI, with a strong understanding of each tool’s capabilities and limitations.

  • Hands-on experience working in a Jira sandbox environment, with the ability to transition solutions into a production setting in collaboration with IT/Jira administrators.

  • Strong understanding of data integration techniques using Jira, Power BI, and Excel to build cohesive, cross-platform reporting tools.

  • Ability to act as a strategic advisor and creative problem solver, translating business requirements into actionable dashboard/reporting solutions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

  • Prior experience developing job aids, training documentation, or providing end-user support for dashboard/reporting tools is preferred.
