IDR is seeking a Communications Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Brentwood, TN. This role focuses on supporting organizational integration, change management, and internal communications initiatives within a dynamic corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing communication strategies for large-scale organizational changes and M&A projects, ensuring clear and effective messaging across diverse audiences.

Position Overview for the Communications Specialist:

• Supports organizational initiatives through effective communication strategies and execution.
• Develops and delivers communications to help employees understand organizational changes, milestones, impacts, and required actions.
• Owns communication timelines, deliverables, and execution across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Crafts clear, engaging content for various channels including emails, newsletters, intranet, talking points, and videos.
• Collaborates with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop messaging that aligns with business objectives.

Requirements for the Communications Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of communications experience; strong background in internal/corporate communications.
• Experience with change management and M&A/integration communications is required.
• Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication plans from strategy through delivery.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
