IDR is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is integral to leading enterprise architecture governance, developing technology strategies, and modernization initiatives within a dynamic organizational setting. The position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and leadership alike.
Candidates must sit in CST or EST.Â
Position Overview for the Enterprise Architect:
- Lead and mature enterprise architecture governance, standards, and review processes.
- Develop enterprise technology strategies, architecture roadmaps, standards, and reference architectures.
- Lead architecture reviews for cloud, SaaS, applications, integrations, infrastructure, and modernization initiatives.
- Evaluate technology solutions across Azure/Microsoft 365, data, applications, identity, and emerging AI technologies.
- Partner with security, engineering, data, PMO, vendors, and leadership to ensure technology decisions align with business needs.
Requirements for the Enterprise Architect:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise, solution, cloud, infrastructure, or application architecture.
- Hands-on experience engineering, implementing, administering, or supporting enterprise technology environments.
- Strong experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, especially Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Experience evaluating cloud, infrastructure, SaaS, applications, data, integrations, identity, and enterprise platforms.
- Developing architecture standards, roadmaps, reference architectures, and governance processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical recommendations, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
