IDR is seeking a Project Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Boston, MA. This role involves supporting government-related projects within a dynamic public sector environment. The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in managing project documentation, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication across stakeholder groups.
Position Overview for the Project Coordinator:
- Support project teams by attending meetings, preparing thorough and accurate meeting notes, and tracking action items and decisions.
- Maintain centralized project documentation, including action item trackers, decision logs, and follow-up communications.
- Review and quality check project documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with standards.
- Proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, and unclear ownership in project artifacts and coordinate with team members to resolve issues.
- Assist with project reporting, document control, and PMO governance to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements for the Project Coordinator:
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in project coordination, PMO, quality assurance, or a related role.
- Associate’s degree required.
- Must be local to Boston, MA and willing to work onsite 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Strong typing skills with the ability to capture detailed information accurately and efficiently during meetings.
- Demonstrated experience documenting meeting notes, action items, decisions, risks, issues, and dependencies.
