IDR is seeking a Data Engineer (DataBricks) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. This role involves working within a highly technical environment to build scalable data pipelines supporting strategic forecasting initiatives in the energy and utility sectors. The company is a leader in innovative data solutions within the infrastructure industry.
Position Overview for the Data Engineer (DataBricks):
Build and maintain ETL pipelines and workflows within Databricks.
Support development of a granular load forecasting platform at the feeder/circuit level.
Integrate data inputs from multiple internal teams and systems.
Ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, and flow into the forecasting platform.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements for the Data Engineer (DataBricks):
7-10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (core requirement).
Advanced proficiency in Python and PySpark within Databricks.
Strong experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and workflows.
Experience with Databricks features such as job orchestration, asset bundles, and production deployments.
